Position Summary
We are currently seeking energetic and highly-motivated professionals to meet the demands of our exciting industry and help us reach our vision of changing the way business's communicate. This position will focus on developing B2B relationships with small and medium size companies introducing WavesCo Managed Service offerings.
As a WavesCo Account Executive, you will develop and execute a territory strategic plan to position WavesCo as the leading provider for Managed Services. You must be willing to prospect and have demonstrated a proven record of closing B2B sales. Candidates should be creative and good problem solvers. Experience in the IT Industry is helpful.
Candidates who have the ability to work well in a team selling environment with cross functional leadership skills and a successful sales record should consider this opportunity.
Position Focus
Responsibilities include:
- The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for acquiring new customers and uncovering new business opportunities.
- Prospect for new leads, generate appointments and sales using cold calls and networking techniques.
- Follow-up on promotions.
- Maintain lead and client information in Corporate CRM.
- Track phone calls, meetings, and client correspondence in Corporate CRM.
- Set sales appointment goals and help generate new business.
- Working with Business Owners/Companies to introduce Managed IT Services.
- Assist clients with selecting the right services for their business and budget.
- Working with Small, Medium Size Companies to help them reduce cost and sign-up for Managed Service contracts and maintenance and provide IT expertise for their projects
- Connect Customers to get Online Backup, Disaster Recovery Projects
- Other Maintenance, Application Support and Automation Projects
- Assist clients with their Upgrade and Maintenance Projects
- Achieve mutually agreed upon goals (Sales quotas, Continuing education, etc.)

Position Requirements
- IT Service sales experience and knowledge is preferred.
- Self motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time management and presentation skills
- A positive individual who thrives equally on personal and team success.
- Candidate must be able to go through list of potential customers by market and ask questions in each vertical market of decision makers to qualify them and make sales.
- Must be able to work from home as well as on-site with clients.
Compensation
- Compensation: Sales Commission with monthly residual
- This is a telecommuting / work from home position.
