The acronym CIO, or Chief Information Officer, is now widely used to convey proactive IT support. It’s a pretty cool title – and an even cooler description to boast on a website, but what does it really mean to a business owner in desperate need of technology solutions? After all, in the jargon-filled tech-speak world of Information Technology, it really doesn’t matter what you say anymore. It’s all about what you do, how efficiently you do it, and the effect your service has on the business owner’s bottom line…right?
